Spain puts guide training inside its state sports-education system; Slovakia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic regulate guiding by law; Poland has a separate state mountain-guide licence. Costs range from about €5,000 in Slovenia to €17,000–20,000 in the Czech Republic. The multinational EEMGA is the only one here taught in English, and other nationalities can ask by email.
