Frosolone: Grey Limestone Boulders at 1,200 m in Molise, Reopened with Conditions after the 2020 Ban | Italy Climbing Crags

Morgia Quadra, on the Colle dell'Orso plateau outside Frosolone in Molise, is a cluster of grey limestone blocks at 1,100–1,300 m with somewhere between 189 and 500-plus single-pitch sport routes (the sites disagree a lot), from 4a to 8c+/9a, about three quarters of them 6b and up. It is cool and windy, best from late spring to early autumn. The mayor banned climbing in August 2020; in May 2021 the council reopened it with conditions, closing the whole crag from March to May that year for nesting cliff birds. We could not find either original act, and Planetmountain's crag page still shows the ban, so check with the town hall before you go. Very hard to reach without a car.
