CLIMBING-net calls it a year-round crag; skip the rainy season and pick shaded sectors in summer. By public transport, take the Horikawa Bus from JR Hainuzuka Station, change at Kurogi, and get off at Damu-iriguchi — only 5 buses a day run toward the crag.
